Hearing loss is the second most significant cause of workplace compensation claims under ACC. Twenty per cent of claimants fail to complete the claims process, and of those that manage to lodge a claim 28% are declined.

Hazel Armstrong Law provides legal advice to the NZ Audiological Society (NZAS) which represents all practicing audiologists in NZ working in both the public and private sectors. Hazel Armstrong Law is currently reviewing the Ministry of Health Hearing Aid Project on behalf of NZAS.
